When You Reach Me

When You Reach Me follows the live and adventure of Miranda in New York City. Along with Sal, her best friend, they already know how to explore the neighborhood safely by sixth grade. They understand which places are safe and which ones they should stay away from. However, Miranda exciting adventures end when a new kid, seemingly for no reason, hits her best companion Sal and suddenly he shuts her out of his life. Strange things also start to happen in Miranda’s life. The hidden apartment key left by Miranda’s mother is stolen and it is followed by the arrivals of mysterious notes. The first note says: “I am coming to save your friend’s life, and my own. I must ask two favors. First, you must write me a letter.”
